Zuki Bougainvillea

The Zuki Bougainvillea is a variety that grows compactly with few thorns, yet produces impressive flowers. Through summer it bears masses of dark pink flowers which blend nicely with the variegated green and cream foliage. This evergreen typically grows to 1.5 m tall and the same wide without a support structure but much larger when it has something to climb. Without support it will grow more like a groundcover. It grows best when planted on a well-drained, sheltered site in either full sun or partial shade. It will tolerate light frost once established. The Zuki Bougainvillea is commonly used as a small climber, added to mixed plantings, used as a groundcover, or planted anywhere the beauty of this plant can be enjoyed.
