Ficus pumila, commonly known as Creeping Fig or Climbing Fig, is an impressive climbing plant. It carries small, heart shaped leaves which are light green when young and become darker green with age. It will easily climb to cover an area 4 m by 4 m within two years. Ficus pumila is a great plant for covering a wall or trellis and it is commonly used in formal gardens across NZ.
