Grape Amurensis is an ornamental grapevine that does produce small grapes but the main feature is the foliage. This deciduous vine carries large, mid-green leaves and as autumn progresses the leaves develop impressive shades of fiery red and orange. Grape Amurensis is commonly trained on a support structure as an attractive feature or grown to attract birds.

Amur Grape

The Amur Grape is an ornamental variety that produces small grapes but the main feature is the foliage. This deciduous vine carries large, mid-green leaves and as autumn progresses the leaves develop impressive shades of fiery red and orange. It requires a trellis or fence for support and if left untrimmed, it will grow to about 5 m tall. It grows best when planted in full sun on a well-drained, sheltered site and it is tolerant of frost and cold environments. The Amur Grape is commonly trained on a support structure as an attractive feature or grown to attract birds.
