Hardenbergia violacea Rosea is a vigorous, evergreen climber grown for its pretty flowers and lush foliage. It bears masses of rose-pink flowers on slender stems from late winter through spring which literally transforms the plant. Complementing the showy flowers are the lush dark green leaves which are held densely. It will easily grow to 3 m tall but is often contained with trimming as necessary. This hardy plant is tolerant of most soil conditions and climates including moderate frost though will grow best on a well-drained site in full sun.
