“Golden Showers” is a variety of Pandorea grown for its foliage and handsome flowers. It carries dark green, leathery foliage which blend nicely with the small, yellow, trumpet-like flowers. The flowers are borne from spring through summer and are truly impressive. It grows as an evergreen climber, reaching about 6 m in length but can be trimmed as necessary. Best results with this plant are achieved when it is grown on a well-drained site in full sun, protected from frost and wind while establishing. “Golden Showers” is commonly grown along a fence or other support structure. It also looks great in a sub-tropical garden and is perfect for growing round the barbecue area.
