Abies concolor, commonly known as the White Fir or Concolor Fir Tree, is a striking and colourful tree. It features showy, blue foliage held as a flattened spray. The new foliage is a fresh-green colour before aging to blue as it grows to about 18 m tall and 7 m wide. Abies concolor is commonly grown as a specimen in large gardens and parks, used in alpine gardens, or included in avenue plantings.

Abies concolor, commonly known as the White Fir or Concolor Fir Tree, is a striking and colourful tree. It features showy, blue foliage held as a flattened spray. The new foliage is a fresh-green colour before aging to blue. It grows with a conical shape to about 18 m tall and 7 m wide, and performs best when planted in full sun on a well-drained site. It is tolerant of dry periods, frost, alpine climates, poor soils, and moderate wind. Abies concolor is commonly grown as a specimen in large gardens and parks, used in alpine gardens, or included in avenue plantings. A cluster planting of at least three White Fir affords an amazing display.
