Abies concolor Hosta la Vista Details

Abies Hosta la Vista is a dwarf variety of Abies grown for its foliage and short stature. This evergreen conifer produces short, stubby branches with equally short, powder blue-green, needle-like foliage. The branches are held off a single, central trunk though growth tends to be somewhat irregular. It grows slowly to about 60 cm tall and the same wide, performing best when planted in full sun on a well-drained site. It is tolerant of frost, cool climates, and periods of dry. Abies Hosta la Vista is an interesting conifer that is well suited to adding to a mixed planting, growing in a container, or including in a rock garden.
