It produces dark green needle-like foliage held densely on short stems with new growth emerging a much lighter green. The notable feature on Korean Spruce Tree is the large, dark purple cones in summer which are eye catching and very aesthetic. This evergreen typically grows to 18 m tall and 8 m wide. Abies koreana is ideal for positions where a showy tree is required and is therefore well suited to parks, large gardens, and avenue planting.
