Golden Korean Fir, Abies koreana Aurea, Abies koreana Aurea Golden Korean Fir, Aurea Korean Fir
Abies koreana Aurea, commonly known as the Golden Korean Fir, is grown for its foliage, stature, and colourful cones. This evergreen conifer produces upward branches with new growth in spring being golden yellow. The short, needle-like foliage ages to a light green which gives the tree a two-toned colouring in spring as it grows to about 10 m tall and 4 m wide. Abies koreana Aurea is commonly grown as an eye-catching specimen or included in a mixed planting in a large garden.
