Cedrus atlantica 'Glauca Pendula', commonly known as the Weeping Blue Cedar, is a conifer grown for its foliage and pendulous growth habit. This slow growing tree has sprawling, horizontal growth and is often trained with a single upright stem then allowed to trail once the desired height is reached. The pendulous branchlets bear ice-blue needles, resulting in a graceful, waterfall-like display as the plant grows to 2.5 m tall with a spread of 7 m. Cedrus atlantica Glauca Pendula is commonly grown as a specimen or added to a mixed planting. Ensure this tree has plenty of room, as it looks best when the branches can hang to the ground.
