Cedrus deodora Vinks Gold, commonly known as Yellow Cedar or Indian Cedar, is a variety of Cedar grown for its foliage and form. New growth is bright yellow and while the foliage tends to age towards darker green the yellow tones are retained. The branches are arching and give the tree a graceful appearance. It grows with an overall pyramidal form to about 15 m tall and 10 m wide. Best results are achieved when planted in full sun on a well-drained site.
