“Yellow Transparent” is a conifer that features foliage that is feathery and “soft” in appearance. The foliage has mild-yellow tips with a darker, green centre which results in the plant having dual colouring. It grows somewhat slowly with a columnar habit to about 2 m tall and 1 m wide, and performs best when planted on a well-drained site in full sun. It is tolerant of frost, coastal environments, cool climates, and short periods of dry. This low maintenance conifer is commonly grown as a specimen, maintained in a container, added to mixed plantings, planted around outdoor living areas such as pools and the like, or planted to border an entance.
