Cryptomeria Elegans is a large, evergreen tree reaching about 10 m tall and 5 m wide. This cultivar grows upright with a loose pyramidal shape and carries feathery, bright green foliage. As cooler weather sets in it develops strong purple colouring. The texture and colour of this tree is very distinct and attractive.
