Cryptomeria Globosa Nana is a small, evergreen shrub reaching 1.5 m tall and the same wide. This cultivar grows as a flat-topped bushy mound. It carries feathery, blue-green foliage which turns a rusty red colour as cooler weather sets in. The texture and colour of this tree is very distinct and attractive. It tolerates a wide range of conditions but does best when grown in full sun on a well-drained site. It is tolerant of frost, cold climates, exposed conditions, coastal environments, and dry periods. Cryptomeria Globosa Nana is used in mixed plantings, maintained in a container, or used in borders.
