This conifer grows upright with a vase shape bearing the foliage on slightly arching branches. It typically grows to 4 m tall and 2.5 m wide, performing best when grown on a well-drained site in full sun or partial shade. It is tolerant of dry conditions but not of prolonged wet soils.
