This evergreen tree features soft looking, dark green foliage that appears to hang from near horizontal branches. The foliage is complemented with small, purple cones in summer. It grows with an upright and somewhat narrow growth habit to eventually reach about 20 m tall and 8 m wide. Best performance with this tree is achieved when it is grown in full sun on a well-drained site with good moisture during dry periods.
