Adiantum raddianum, commonly known as the Delta Maidenhair Fern, carries attractive and soft, mid-green foliage. It grows as a clump to about 40 cm tall and the same wide. Adiantum raddianum is commonly grown as a potted plant and is ideal for indoor conditions. For outdoor planting it is ideal for planting beneath larger trees and shrubs, for shaded areas, for planting around pool or barbecue areas, or for including in mixed plantings.

Adiantum raddianum (Maidenhair Fern) Details

Adiantum raddianum, commonly known as the Delta Maidenhair Fern, carries attractive and soft, mid-green foliage. The new fronds emerge light green and unfold from wiry, purple-black stems. It grows as a clump to about 40 cm tall and the same wide, performing best when planted in light shade with good moisture, shelter, and frost protection. Adiantum raddianum is commonly grown as a potted plant and is ideal for indoor conditions. For outdoor planting it is ideal for planting beneath larger trees and shrubs, for shaded areas, for planting around pool or barbecue areas, or for including in mixed plantings.
