Citrus Fertiliser Details

Applying the correct citrus fertiliser is essential for achieving better quality fruit, higher yields, and a much healthier and brighter looking tree. Correct nutrition for the tree is important while it is establishing and also from flowering until the green fruit become visible. The Plant Company Citrus Fertiliser has been specifically blended to give 12-months of continuous nutrition and give the tree an initial boost with all right nutrients. Other citrus fertilisers on the market typically just give the quick boost and require repeated applications to be effective. To use The Plant Company Citrus Fertiliser, apply one handful (one cup) evenly around each tree (ideally in early spring) and then again, each year. When planting citrus, mix one-third of a handful into the soil at the bottom of the hole and apply the rest of the handful to the soil surface around the tree. Water the fertiliser in and off any foliage. Do not drop fertiliser directly into the bottom of the hole without mixing as this will cause root burning. This citrus fertiliser blend is suitable for all types of Citrus including lemons, oranges, grapefruit, limes, kumquats, mandarins, and tangelos. One kg of fertiliser will adequately fertilise 12 trees for one year. The NPK rating is 12.4:5.2:15 and a sulphur level of 5.1.
