Roses respond exceptionally well to rose fertiliser with better quality flowers and foliage, stronger stems, and a much healthier and brighter looking plant. Correct nutrition for roses is important during both establishment and the active growth periods (spring and summer). The Plant Company’s Rose Fertiliser has been specially blended to give 9-months of continuous and correct nutrition and give the plant an initial boost. This fertiliser blend is suitable for all types of roses that are planted outdoors but should not be used with container grown roses (use an indoor plant fertiliser instead). One kg of fertiliser will adequately fertilise 15 roses for one year.

Rose Fertiliser Details

Roses respond exceptionally well to rose fertiliser with better quality flowers and foliage, stronger stems, and a much healthier and brighter looking plant. Correct nutrition for roses is important during both establishment and the active growth periods (spring and summer). The Plant Company’s Rose Fertiliser has been specially blended to give 9-months of continuous and correct nutrition and give the plant an initial boost. Other Rose fertilisers on the market typically just give the quick boost and require repeated applications to be effective which makes them very costly. The Plant Company Rose Fertiliser is applied at a rate of half a handful (half a cup) evenly around each plant (ideally in early spring) each year. When planting the rose, mix half a handful into the soil at the bottom of the hole and spread another half a handful on the soil surface around the plant after planting. Water in and wash any fertiliser off the leaves. Do not drop fertiliser into the bottom of the hole without mixing it with soil as this will cause root burning. This fertiliser blend is suitable for all types of roses that are planted outdoors but should not be used with container grown roses (use an indoor plant fertiliser instead). One kg of fertiliser will adequately fertilise 15 roses for one year. Double rates can safely be used on large specimens or where soil fertility levels are low.
