The Little Rev Flax Lily is a compact, clump forming grass grown for its lovely foliage. This evergreen perennial has grass like foliage that is a fantastic blue-green colour. It grows to about 60 cm tall and about 40 cm wide and becomes adorned with violet-blue flowers in spring and summer. This NZ Flax Lily is a hardy plant that will tolerate moderate frost, reasonable shade, short periods of dry, and most soils, except the extremes of wet and dry. The Little Rev Flax Lily is commonly included in a mixed planting or border, used in cottage gardens, or mass planted either on a bank or as a groundcover.
