Dianella revoluta ‘Little Rev’ is a compact, clump forming grass grown for its lovely foliage. This evergreen perennial has grass like foliage that is a fantastic blue-green colour. It grows to about 60 cm tall and about 40 cm wide and becomes adorned with violet-blue flowers in spring and summer. This NZ Flax Lily is a hardy plant that will tolerate moderate frost, reasonable shade, short periods of dry, and most soils, except the extremes of wet and dry. Dianella ‘Little Rev’ is commonly included in a mixed planting or border, used in cottage gardens, or mass planted either on a bank or as a groundcover.
