Phormium Bronze is a variety of Flax that produces long and broad, sword like leaves that are varying shades of brown and bronze. This Flax typically grows to 1.5 m tall and 2 m wide with a tidy and compact habit. It performs best and produces the most intense leaf colourings when planted in full sun on a well-drained site. It will tolerate frost, coastal conditions, wind, poor soils, cool climates, and partial shade conditions. Phormium Bronze is a versatile plant makes a fantastic addition to mixed plantings and coastal gardens. It is commonly planted around water features, pool and barbecue areas, or other living areas.
