Phormium Dazzler Details

Phormium Dazzler is a variety of Flax that produces long and broad, sword-like leaves that are dark purple with rose-pink stripes. It typically grows to 1.2 m tall and the same wide with a tidy and compact habit. Best performance and most intense leaf colourings are achieved with this plant when it is grown in full sun on a well-drained site. It will tolerate frost, coastal conditions, wind, poor soils, and cool climates. Phormium Dazzler makes a fantastic addition to mixed and border plantings, and is often planted around water features, added to coastal gardens, or planted around pool and barbecue areas. It is also well suited to mass planting on a bank and in these situations provides an impressive display.
