It typically grows to 60 cm tall and the same wide carrying narrow, sword like leaves which are two-tone red. It grows best and produces the most intense leaf colourings when planted in full sun on a well-drained site. It will tolerate frost, coastal conditions, wind, poor soils, and cool climates. Phormium Red Fingers is a versatile variety that makes a fantastic addition to mixed and border plantings, and is often planted around water features, added to coastal gardens, or planted around pool and barbecue areas.
