The foliage is complemented with clusters of yellow flowers in summer which are borne off long stems. This variety typically grows to 80 cm tall and the same wide with a tidy and compact habit. It grows best and produces the most intense leaf colourings when planted in full sun on a well-drained site. It will tolerate frost, coastal conditions, wind, poor soils, moderate shade, and cool climates.
