Beschorneria Flamingo Glow is grown for its colourful foliage and impressive flowering. The leaves on this herbaceous perennial are variegated yellow and grey-green and are flax-like in appearance. In summer, erect, red stems up to 1.5 m tall rise above the foliage bearing tubular, pink-red flowers. It typically grows to 1.2 m tall and the same wide, performing best when planted on a well-drained site in full sun. It will tolerate dry conditions, coastal conditions, cool climates, and light frost once established but will not tolerate prolonged wet.
