Dianella brevicaulis Plant

The Dianella brevicaulis plant is an herbaceous perennial grown for its foliage and pretty flowers. It features narrow, and gently arching, dark green leaves. These become adorned with masses of blue flowers during spring and summer. It typically grows to 50 cm tall and 75 cm wide. It has roots that enable it to survive a wide range of environmental conditions but will grow best when planted in full sun or partial shade on a well-drained site. It is hardy to moderate frost, coastal environments, dry periods, and cool climates.
