Dianella Streetscape Plant

The Dianella Streetscape plant is grown for both its foliage and flowers. It features spikes carrying delicate, blue flowers in spring. These are held neatly above the fresh-green, strap-like leaves. The flowers are followed by small blue berries in summer. This Flax Lily typically grows to 50 cm tall and 60 cm wide and has storage roots that enable it to survive a wide range of environmental conditions. It grows best, however, when planted in full sun or partial shade on a well-drained site. It is hardy to moderate frost, coastal environments, dry periods, and cool climates.
