Blueberry Powder Blue is a Rabbiteye variety that produces good yields of medium sized, dark blue fruit. The fruit has a lovely flavour and ripens in late summer and continues into autumn. New foliage is blue-green, matures to mid-green, then develops red-orange tones in autumn before falling. In warmer climates it may remain evergreen, however. This shrub typically grows to 1.5 m tall and the same wide, and can be trimmed as necessary. The Powder Blue Blueberry is commonly grown for its delicious fruit and often included into a mixed planting or maintained in a container.
