Raspberry Heritage (Rubus idaeus Heritage) produces high yields of dark red fruit through late summer and early autumn. The fruit are easily picked and very flavoursome. They are borne along the long stems (canes) which also carry mid green foliage. It is deciduous and typically grows to 2 m tall and 1.5 m wide though is usually cut back to ground level each winter to stimulate new canes. Raspberry Heritage is commonly planted for fruit production, added to a mixed planting, or grown as an informal hedge.
