Apple Blush Babe Details

The Blush Babe Apple is a dwarf variety that bears mid-sized, red fruit in autumn. The fruit have flesh that is crisp, sweet, juicy, and are great for eating fresh. This deciduous tree typically grows to 2 m tall and 1 m wide and requires little in the way of pruning. It is self-pollinating and so does not require another apple variety planted close by to produce fruit. Best results with the variety are achieved when it is grown in full sun on a well-drained, sheltered site. It is tolerant of frost and cool climates and should not be allowed to dry out. Blush Babe is commonly planted for fruit production either as a specimen or by including it into a mixed planting. It also suits being maintained in a courtyard garden.
