The Galaxy Apple variety is a popular selection of Royal Gala that produces amazing fruit in autumn. The fruit are red with orange blushes and have flesh that is sweet, crisp, and very tasty. The M9 rootstock keeps this deciduous tree to about 4 m tall and the same wide, though it can be trimmed as necessary. Galaxy is commonly planted for fruit production, included in a mixed planting, or grown as a specimen.

The Galaxy Apple variety is a popular due to its amazing fruit in autumn. The fruit are red with orange blushes and have flesh that is sweet, crisp, and very tasty. The M9 rootstock keeps this deciduous tree to about 4 m tall and the same wide, though it can be trimmed as necessary. It is self-pollinating and does not require another apple variety planted close by to produce fruit. Best results with this variety are achieved when it is grown in full sun on a well-drained, sheltered site. It is tolerant of frost, though a late frost in spring can reduce yields. It is not suited to sub-tropical climates. Galaxy is commonly planted for fruit production, included in a mixed planting, or grown as a specimen.
