This variety requires another variety planted nearby such as Williams Bon Chretien or Winter Nelis to aid pollination. It typically grows to 3.5 m tall and 3 m wide but can be trimmed as necessary. Best yields are achieved when planted in full sun on a well-drained, sheltered, fertile site, with good soil moisture during dry periods. It is tolerant of cold climates and frost, though late frosts will reduce the yield.
