The Black Prince plum produces crops of medium-sized, black-purple skinned fruit in summer. The flesh is red-black and great for eating or using in cooking. This deciduous tree grows with an upright habit to about 5 m tall and 3 m wide, performing best when planted in full sun on a well-drained, sheltered site.
