Kereru Gold is a variety of yellow plum that produces large crops of mid-sized, golden coloured fruit that also have golden flesh. The fruit are great for eating fresh or making into jam. White blossoms adorn the tree in spring and give rise to the fruit in summer. This deciduous tree grows with an upright habit to about 5 m tall and 3 m wide. This yellow plum is commonly planted for fruit production and makes for a lovely specimen.

Kereru Gold is a variety of yellow plum that produces large crops of mid-sized, golden coloured fruit that also have golden flesh. The fruit are great for eating fresh or making into jam. White blossoms adorn the tree in spring and give rise to the fruit in summer. This variety does not need another tree planted nearby to aid pollination. This deciduous tree grows with an upright habit to about 5 m tall and 3 m wide, performing best when planted in full sun on a well-drained, sheltered site. It is tolerant of cool climates and frost, though a late frost can reduce yields. This yellow plum is commonly planted for fruit production and makes for a lovely specimen.
