Plum Shiro is a popular variety that produces mid-sized, yellow skinned fruit with yellow flesh that is juicy with a mild flavour. White blossoms adorn the tree in spring and give rise to the fruit in summer. This deciduous tree grows with an upright habit to about 5 m tall and 3 m wide, performing best when planted in full sun on a well-drained, sheltered site.
