Armeria maritima Morning Star White, commonly known as Thrift, is a compact, low-growing plant which forms a dense, mounded tuft of grass-like, dark green leaves about 10 cm long. Tiny, white flowers are borne in spring atop slender stems that rise above the foliage in the form of a ball.
