White Sedge, Hair Sedge, Curly Sedge
Carex albula, commonly known as Curly Sedge, Hair Sedge, or White Sedge, produces delicate, buff-green foliage that is held in a dense tuft. The foliage turns nearly white during the winter months and affords a delightful display in light winds as it grows to 40 cm tall and the same width. Carex albula is commonly used for border plantings, mass planted on a bank, or used as a groundcover.
