Carex Caramel Curls is a NZ native grass that produces attractive, caramel-brown foliage. It forms a low, cascading mound of fine, grassy leaves as it grows to 40 cm tall and the same wide. Best growth is achieved when planted in full sun or partial shade on a well-drained site that does not dry out. The bronze colouring will become more intense when planted in full sun and it is tolerant of coastal conditions, periods of dry, wind, and cool climates.
