Carex ternaria Sedge

The Carex ternaria sedge is a NZ native sedge grass commonly found in swampy areas. It features slender foliage which is dark green and held densely. It grows as a large clump up to 2 m tall and the same wide and performs best on wetter soils in full sun or partial shade (through it will grow well on better drained soils also). It also tolerates wind and partially shaded conditions. The Carex ternaria sedge is perfect for revegetating or enhancing wetland areas.
