Tall spikes of Toe-Toe like flowers are borne in summer which are cream with a pink tone. It typically grows to 1.5 m tall and 1 m wide, performing best when planted in full sun or partial shade on pretty much any soil type condition barring extreme wet or dry. It is tolerant of frost, cool climates, wind, coastal conditions, and extended periods of dry.
