Miscanthus Morning Light Grass

The Miscanthus Morning Light grass is a stunning variety due to its amazing foliage. It produces green leaves edged with white, creating a very aesthetic plant. Tall flower spikes are borne in summer and tend to be cream with a pink tone. It typically grows to 1.5 m tall and 1 m wide, performing best when planted in full sun or partial shade on pretty much any soil type condition, barring extreme wet or dry. It is tolerant of frost, cool climates, wind, coastal conditions, and extended periods of dry. In cooler climates it may die back during winter to regrow again when conditions warm. The Miscanthus Morning Light grass is often included in a mixed or border plantings, planted around outdoor living areas or water features, used as a backdrop for other plants, or maintained in a container.
