The prostrate form of Acacia baileyana, commonly known as the Prostrate Cootamundra Wattle, is a ground cover plant that features fern-like foliage which is silver-grey in colour. Clusters of bright yellow flowers are produced amidst the leaves from late winter through spring. It grows with a cascading habit and will reach 50 cm tall and 3 m wide. Acacia baileyana prostrate is commonly used as a groundcover where it will cover a large area growing with the contour of the ground.
