This evergreen produces fern like leaves that are a lovely shade of blue, and are held on spreading stems as it grows to 15 cm tall and 80 cm wide. Acaena Antarctica is a hardy plant that grows just about anywhere and is commonly used as quick growing, low groundcover, particularly in challenging growing conditions. It is well suited to growing beside a walkway, including in a rock garden, planting amongst paving stones and boulders, being maintained in a container, or planting around outdoor living areas.

Acaena minor Antarctica is a NZ native, herbaceous perennial often used as a groundcover. This evergreen produces fern like leaves that are a lovely shade of blue, and are held on spreading stems.
