Acaena saccaticupula Blue Haze grows as a mat of steel-blue coloured foliage made up of fern like leaves. Green flowers are produced on short stems in summer, followed by attractive mahogany-red burr-like fruits in autumn. This is an eye-catching and attractive plant which will grow to only 15 cm tall and spread about 50 cm in two years if looked after. It will tolerate almost any soil condition and flourishes in full sun on a well-drained site.
