Ajuga Mahogany, commonly known as Bugleweed, Common Bugle, or Carpet Bugle, forms a spreading mound of dark red-purple leaves. Spikes of blue flowers rise above the foliage from spring as it grows to 20 cm tall and 80 cm wide. Ajuga Mahogany is commonly used as a groundcover, grown in a container, or used to transform a shady area. A mass planting produces a very rewarding display with this Bugleweed.

Ajuga reptans Mahogany is grown for its impressive foliage and flowers. This Bugle forms a spreading mound of dark red-purple leaves. Spikes of blue flowers rise above the foliage from spring through summer and bring another element to this already lovely plant.
