Casuarina Shagpile is a prostrate variety of Casuarina that features elegant foliage held with a pendulous manner of prostrate stems. It grows across the ground to about 20 cm tall and 1.5 m wide, and produces fine, needle-like foliage that is a fantastic shade of dark green. Casuarina Shagpile makes a fantastic groundcover, and looks amazing when allowed to spill over walls or onto paths.

Casuarina Shagpile is a prostrate variety of Casuarina that features elegant foliage held with a pendulous manner. It grows across the ground to about 20 cm tall and 1.5 m wide, and produces fine, needle-like foliage that is a fantastic shade of dark green. It grows best in full sun on a well-drained site and is tolerant of wind, coastal conditions, frost, cool climates, and a range of soil conditions except at the extremes of wet and dry. Casuarina Shagpile makes a fantastic groundcover, and looks amazing when allowed to spill over walls or onto paths.
