It looks fantastic great when allowed to spill over a retaining wall.

Cerastium tomentosum is an herbaceous perennial featuring both impressive flowering and foliage. The plants are lavished with tiny, white, star shaped flowers through spring and summer. These are complemented with small, silver-grey leaves held on creeping stems. The flowers and foliage make this a stunning plant. It grows quickly and densely to about 20 cm tall and 1 m wide, performing best when planted in full sun on a well-drained site. It is tolerant of dry periods, moderate frost, and coastal conditions.
