Coprosma Flat Freddy is a NZ native shrub that is often used as a groundcover. It reaches just 15 cm tall and spreads 1 m wide carrying small, green leaves that darken in winter. The branches are dark brown, slim, and tend to overlap each other in such a way that they become more prominent than the leaves. It grows best when planted in full sun or partial shade on a well-drained site though will tolerate dry periods, frost, cool climates, wind, and coastal conditions.
