Correa decumbens Details

Correa decumbens is a vigorous and fast-growing, ground covering plant. The foliage is made up of branchlets which carry small, dark green leaves held densely. This becomes adorned with dark pink-red flowers in autumn. It typically grows to 50 cm tall and can spread 3 m wide, though can easily be contained with trimming. This Correa performs best when positioned in full-sun or partial shade on a well-drained site. It tolerates dry periods, moderate frost, and coastal environments, but is intolerant of heavy, wet soils.
